Dragonfootball2001: "I also said that clearly the WestPac is much stronger than the ICC and therefore you had to give some credence to strength of schedule. This is factual, in that your Panthers are the only ICC team in the D5 A playoffs"

Really? I think the two conferences are very similar. To say the WestPAC is much stronger is ridiculous. Let's look at the top 4 teams in each conference...Bellwood, J.Valley, Mo Valley, NBC vs N.Star, Windber, Conemaugh Twp, Berlin...That looks pretty equal to me. Looking at the middle pack, I would take West Branch, Claysburg, Glendale and Mount Union over Meyersdale, Rockwood, Portage and Blacklick any day!

There are only 3 ICC teams in District 5, TM missed the playoffs by a game (They will be a significant player next year as they return a ton of experience) and Everett is just down. Don't judge an entire conference by 3 Bedford County Teams only.

lol this is an opinion board, wow.. last year your on here taughting how berlin is gonna score on wpial because of your brother and now when everyone on here states the westpac overall is better then last year you take offense because of your brother. remember BB i am the one giving all the teams credit for being better. YOU are the one arguing with my post. we all know the year of the sayler will never be matched in the westpac again. lol overall records dont matter, then what the hell do we judge it by.. rushing, ok.. more rushing yards in westpac then last year.. passing? more passing yards in westpac this year. how about sacks.. more this year, you just come on like last year to argue anyones point. go back and look at your posts BB how many start with I DISAGREE... to disagree is fine but dont get pissy with one post and state i disagree, every post you did last year on your predictions i agreed with 90%. but as soon as someone questions you it turns into a I DONT NEED YOUR OPIONION, grow up man, i cant even give credit to these schools without you taking offense to it. those of us stating they are better have been to multilple games and seen multiple teams play. how many games have you actually been to that werent berlin?
I don't take offense because of my brother holy crap. I could care less. Seriously that is the only thing you ever argue back to me because you have nothing else. You make judgements by watching the games? I have been to 4 Berlin games this year. The other five weeks I have been somewhere else.

really,, you read one line of my post and thats it,, i think i stated records, stats, other people opinion, games i have been to and you take one line about your brother and respond. go back and reread what i said and tell me its all about your brother, for real.. no wonder so many call you out on your posts. you cant even respond to what others write when they do call you out and go right into poor me mode. you think your whitty and right but even last year you had half the berlin team on here telling you to shut your dang mouth, if that doesnt say enough about you then im sure you will inform us with your next post.

Should be 2 good games in D5. I wouldn't be suprised to see at least one "upset". Probably NB over Windber. Berlin can give NS a good game as well.

Just out of curiosity, how many times has NBC played Bellwood or Juniata Valley during the regular season in the last ten years? Does anyone know?

NBC played J.Valley during the 4-yr. cycle previous to this current one. Bellwood does not play NB or TM from the South in crossovers. They play their old JVL comrades (Mt. Union and S.Huntingdon) and also crossover with Everett.

This changes in 2012 as Bellwood and NB will be in the same division and will obviously play.
