Preseason game

I saw an amazing thing Sunday afternoon. I went to the Pro Care building near the Sheetz Headquarters and watched Tussey play Central Cambria in a pre season game. No big deal right? However, Tussey had only 4 players there, another one was there but had just had wisdom teeth surgery, so she didn't play. So Tussey played 4-on-5 the entire game. 3 of the girls were freshmen and one senior. Tussey took the lead off the opening tsp with a lay-up. They lead the entire game until with 16:40 left in the game CC took the lead for good and won by 7 or 9 points. What a performance. Those girls played their hearst out. If those 3 young girls continue to mature Tussey has a bright future for the next few years.

What kind of game was this? Officially sanctioned scrimmage? Why was it there and not at a regular school gymnasium?

It was not a sanctioned scrimmage. School scrimmages are not permitted out of season. It was a fall league game at Competitive Sports Academy.

Sir, not that I care, nor am I connected with anyone who might raise a fuss over this. Just curious how this meeting even came about.

It was a fall league. There were 10 teams in the league. It's just like a summer league only in the fall. There's no fuss to raise, it was an out of season fall league.
