Congratulations Richland
Re: Congratulations Richland
Shouldn't McCort players be held to a higher standard than public school players? Aren't they supposed to have better morals? Aren't they a light in the wilderness? Aren't they the "Do unto others" crowd? Or is it kids will be kids, no matter where they go to school? Guess they're allowed to swear too?

As far as I know the bible dosn't say anything about sweraing. In highschool sports, swearing is not allowed. If a ref. hears it he is to give a warning then a penetly.

Re: Congratulations Richland
Well McCort is A yes, and why? Because they have the enrollment of a single A school. And I'm not being a sour loser, I never knew saying that a team could have won two games decided by a combined 8 points makes you a sour loser. Guess it does though. I mean hell Richland easily could've beat PC this year, does saying that make me a sour losing Richland fan? Because there is ZERO difference between me saying that and saying that McCort easily could have beaten Richland and Bellwood this year.Richland_Fan wrote:Look, Aside from the basic unfairness of recruiting kids to play and then playing in single-A, I am not going to bad mouth BM's effort or team. They are talented and well-coached on the varsity level with the exception of a nut-puncher here or there. But really, you need to quit being such a poor loser. We beat BM. Bellwood beat BM. End of statement. If you don't want to root for us, fine. But don't come on here puffing your chest about how BM could do this or do that. It is really unbecoming and reflects poorly on you and the entire BM program.jack daniel wrote:...but they doesn't change the fact they easily could have beaten Richland and Bellwood...

Re: Congratulations Richland
Yes, BM enrollment numbers add up to single-A, however, many states make allowances for the fact that private schools cherry pick the best players from surrounding districts and move the private school to higher classification, e.g. the highest level of the school losing the student-athlete to the private school. But, the possibility of that happening in the PIAA is remote as long as the majority of administrators are private school alumnus, so don't sweat it, jackie.jack daniel wrote:Well McCort is A yes, and why? As for being a "sour" Richland fan for losing to Penn Cambria, or Johnstown for that matter, for one, you should be so lucky to be a Richland fan. For two, at least this Richland fan never made any such claim. They scored more points and won the game. That's the breaks and you have to live with it.

Re: Congratulations Richland
Trust me I would prefer being AA, I miss the old playoff rivalries with Tyrone and Forest Hills. But the fact is the numbers say McCort is A and because of that they'll stay A. So don't think I'm happy about being A, because I'd rather be AA. And I'm just saying that I don't consider anyone a sour fan for saying their team easily could have won either one of a pair of games they lost by a combined 8 points. And if I came across as sounding like a sour fan for that, well trust me I wasn't trying to.

The Bible doesn't say anything about swearing? How about the Ten (count them) Commandments, Though shall not take thy Lord God's name in vain? Surely no player at BM would ever do this?

Thug, you need to be more concerned with beating Tyrone.

Jack Daniel, you should be more concerned about college than high school football
