Fort Hill incident

Post by Waggle Pass »

The Sentinels finished the regular season 10-0 and entered the 1st round of the Class 1A playoffs against Brunswick from Frederick County about 90 miles away. There was this incident in the 2nd half that has the whole town talking. Go to http://www.commercialvideoservices.com/ click on "Watch Our Football Telecasts" , scroll down to the bottom and click on MD 1A Semifinal Brunswick vs Fort Hill. Go to the 1:51:20 mark and see what happens. It is the dirtiest play I have ever seen in any game. Let it run through to the 1:54:00 mark and see what happens to the FH lineman. NEITHER play drew a flag!!! And local officials did the game. FH ended up winning 49-27. It was the 600th career win for Fort Hill.

BTW, the FH player who's leg was twisted is fine. In fact, he only missed a few plays and later scored a touchdown.

Fort Hill will play Central Martinsburg and Chesnut Ridge beginning next season. Both contracts are home and away.

Thats cool, any idea yet if the Central Martinsburg game is in Martinsburg next year? Just wondering, cause that would be an interesting game to see next year.

I think both Martinsburg and CR are in Cumberland next year and away in 2013.

I just read through this thread today for the first time. I went to the site indicated but the Brunswick game is not there. They must have taken it down.

i would assume they were sent a cease order, the announcers were ripping the kid calling him cheap, another situation were refs could have ejected if they seen it but didnt and as i said in other string, only HE knows if he was trying to break his ankle.

everywhere i went it was taken down, here it is without voice, watch number 4 tackling the ballcarrier at the end he has the ankle and violently spins with it
