Brock Eisenhuth
Re: Brock Eisenhuth
What are YOU talking about? I just criticized Eisenhuth after "alphabets" brought up recruiting. Once I saw this topic, I knew that this would be brought up sooner or later. Just bided my time. And sure enough, here it is. I just waiting for the explaination. No hypocrisy here.

You Guys are unreal...It's sooo simple to give this kid some credit for the great job he did...I don't even know the kid , but know he got a scholarship to a GOOD university ... with, or without Tressel....El Moldo you just had to get your smack talk in ... I guess if that makes you feel better about yourself, El MOLDO you played at LSU or Alabama, I forgot which one it was ....
Congrats to Brock Eisenhuth and good luck with your college career...

Re: Brock Eisenhuth
Transferring from Ferndale to Johnstown can be just as simple as moving from Dale Borough to Hornerstown. It's a non-story.El-Moldo wrote:I didn't know he was recruited, but even the Tribune said that he transferred into the Johnstown district AFTER his sophomore year. Did his parent's move INTO the GJHS school district from the Ferndale School District???? If there wasn't some kind of physical move (one residence to another), why did he TRANSFER? Was it for academics, discipline, his girlfriend went there, Johnstown's library was better, nicer chemistry lab, better cafeteria food? Or was if for athletic reasons, which we all know is against PIAA rules? Maybe you can enlighten us.
Re: Brock Eisenhuth
Or, a relative in the JHS district could have agreed to have him live with them. 100 % legal. Or his family could have paid the required fees for him to stay in Ferndale but go to JHS. Also 100 % legal. My thoughts are, how did he not end up at BM if it was known he was leaving Ferndale? Did Kenny S. slip up on that one.
It ain't over until it's over.
Re: Brock Eisenhuth
I DID NOT bring up Eisenhuth being recruited. In fact, it was a fan of the Trojans. Just read the past responses. I did, however, criticize Youngstown State being among the ELITE of I-aa football. Talk to "ALPHABETS", he brought up the recruiting. I just asked him to explain the transfer to Johnstown, of which he has yet to do. Did his folks move from the Ferndale school district to the Johnstown district or didn't they?

congrats to his great season and to moving on to the next level. who the hell cares what a teams record is the past 10 years, many nfl players came from teams with losing records. again congrats brock.
Re: Brock Eisenhuth
Who cares what a teams record is??? Makes a difference to the REAL elite teams in America.

El-Moldo,
You are missing the whole point of this conversation. This post was about congratulating Brock Eisenhuth for being offered a full ride to a D1 school. That is a HUGE accomplishment. There aren't a lot of kids in our area that get a chance to play four more years of football at the college level. Instead of criticizing our kids, lets encourage our kids. Didn't your mother ever tell you, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.

Re: Brock Eisenhuth
Yes, my mother did say that. But my dad also said "Just because you believe something doesn't make it true". YSU is no longer "elite", no matter how much you want to believe it. I didn't criticize Eisenhuth originally, I criticized the embellishment.
