HERITAGE WEEK 15

Post by HSfan »

Last week 1-0 and 44-12 ytd.

And the beat goes on. Penns Manor now goes against a great Southern Columbia program with seven state titles.

Friday 7 PM at Central Mountain HS Mill Hall,PA

Penns Manor (12-1) 22
Southern Columbia (13-1) 28

SCA is lead on offense by three Sr;
QB Brad Fegley 1300+ passing yds
RB Tyler Levan 1500+ rushing yds
RB Matt Moore 1000+ rushing yds

P M is again lead on offense by Jr Danny Ferens and Sr Joey Vodopivec.
Their stats for the four playoff games;
Running Passing Receiving
Att Yds TD Com Att Int Yds TD No. Yds TD
D F 95 838 11 6 15 3 97 0 2 54 1
J V 44 539 7 2 2 0 54 1 5 75 0
Ferens is averaging 8.8 yds/att with a 92 yd TD and Vodopivec is at 12.2 yds/att. with 54,66,67 and 70 yd TD runs. Hopefully they can break some long ones against a very big SCA defense. P M will also have to use their speed on defense to slow SCA down. I hope I'm wrong and the Comets pull it off, but
this oppenent looks to be too much.

Question: What type of field surface does Cent MT have? I hope it is artficial that may help P M speed. They did very well last week at Herseypark and two weeks ago at Mansion. They lost 45-21 (with two late P M scores) at B McCort in 2009.

It is a beautiful turf field, Central Mt's field may not have a lot of seating but the facilities themselves are quite nice. Tyrone played their earlier in the year and the turf along with the field is basically still brand new!
