SC starting to open up a few holes but the wing t is not the offense to run when you get behind. BTW, the most boring offense ever created.

Clairton answers and seems to be on another level. 21-12

Hate to say it, but I'm expecting Clairton to pull away here in the second half.

Lazy defense by SCA on that last scoring drive; there were three or four plays (including the attempted WR pass) the defenders are over pursuing and allowing the Clairton QB to make plays outside the pocket. Need to be able to contain him in the second half if they want a chance of coming back in this.

That WR pass was ugly. As soon as Clairton lined up you knew what was coming, and once he took off running he should have been tackled.

gooooooood game so far. Clairton's one stud is out…they're holding tough. SC converted a 4th and forever to get inside the 5 and eventually score 21-18 clairton pending 2pt conversion

has anyone ever heard that in a HS before..official: Clairton questioned the ruling on the play. The call on the field stands. Clairton will be charged a timeout?? The refs are letting the Clairton coach to run out to midfield and scream at them it's crazy

Boyd goes the distance again. Barring any magic Clairton takes it..35-19 with 2:20 left. The last run kinda reminded me of the run Clairton had in '09 to seal the deal against McCort. One of those deep inside their territory

Yes this is a rule, a head coach at any time can request a coach-referee conference to discuss a possible misapplication of a rule. If the call is not overturned the team is charged a timeout. If the team has no remaining timeouts the team is charged with delay of game.

How about when the Clairton player got hurt, and was allowed to stay in the game on 4th down. But Southern's QB was slow to get up and forced to leave the field for one play?
