That doesn't make any sense at all. If you are saying he is inconsistent, then let me remind you all of these kids are inconsistent. It comes with the territory. They will go somewhere based upon a combination of performance, and potential. Please don't base the latter entirely on the former.

Depends on the DNA... :) people heal at different rates. I know of a few kids from the area who had TJ and then were drafted 12 months later. Both were throwing off mounds and in games in less than 10 months.

Say_oww I have to agree with you. Most of these kids are inconsistent.. I just think Merriman will do good for the trojans this year. He is a young senior and did have an ERA under 1 last year. That's pretty impressive for a junior.. my thoughts on pitchers is, you are not going to strike every batter out, but if they are hitting off you then you are throwing decent pitches and just home you have the defense behind you..

Its all about strike one... If they can get that over, then they usually do pretty well.

You will not see max straisiser on the mound this year for North Star this year since he is heading to the Navy Seals Training in March. Congratulations to him on all his accomplishments and wish him the best of luck in the seals!!!

CORRECTION: He is trying out for the SEALs.

Many military service men try out, but only a few are selected and make it through the arduous program. I wish him the best of luck. He will need it.

Richland lost some good kids to injuries
McCort has Justin Vardin he's a sophomore this year (he did pretty good last yr)
Johnstown lost Grant Noon to tommy johns & they have this Jack Garble (sp?) he's a junior i've seen him throw, if he can stay out of trouble look for him to have a good year.
so Add Justin Vardian, Brody LoBoi, & Jack Garble to the list.
