Effect of State Budget Proposal on District Sport's Programs

Republicans try to act like the Government should be run like a business with everything having a bottom line. Wrong, I personally don’t care if the Government is in debt or the budget is balanced. I want my children to have the strongest education possible. I want our teachers worried about teaching and not whether or not they will have a job tomorrow. There are a couple things that should not have a price tag for the government. Education, and someone’s health. We can always get money and property back. We can’t do anything if we lose our education and our health. If the GOP is so concerned about the budget raise taxes on the ones who can afford to pay a little more, not cut from my kids education and my mother’s health benefits.

Taxing the rich 100% would not even put the slightest dent in the federal deficit. Taxing the rich is not the answer. Spending less on entitlement programs is the answer.
