Is it really good idea?

Post by kmr »

Do you think the set up of the Altoona coaching staff will really work? Does the saying to many chiefs not enough indians apply to this? You have three former head coaches, 2 that had great success (franco & C Sponsky). Then you have 3 guys who wanted the same job, a lot of knowledge in Altoona but I just hope they can work together. Whats everyone elses thoughts.

Not at all trying to belittle your question. It's something I thought of myself.
But, in my humble opinion:
Football coaches know the psyche of football coaching.
Who are we to render an opinion compared to the guy who talked to each one of these guys to see if they are workable?

At one point Franco had 4 former head coaches on his staff at 1 time in Tyrone...it works. They'll be ok as long as the kids and community buys in. If the kids don't commit, they'll suck no matter who coaches them.
