With Beitz, Brydon, Westin and Decker 145 class is loaded as well. You have 2 State placewinners in this class which, IMO makes it more difficult
than 138. I thought Helsley might head to 152 as I think he was floating between 138-152. Outside of Doak the 152 class doesnt appear to be real difficult. I am not saying that as an insult to the other wrestlers, I am just expressing my opinion and saying that this class has no returning state qualifiers. I still think Helsley finds his way out of districts.

@152 after watching these kids all year, I expect the penn cambria kid to wrestle drew in the finals, but you never know and he has to make it to the finals as well.
Also, After seeing the D7 brackets, all three kids in d5 152 have a real good shot at states, which you dont see too often.
@138 I'm biased here, but I think Tarr will make the finals against Dively, as long as he stays away from the PC boys dump in the semi's, which is easier said than done.
Thats, my take on those two things I guess, can't wait til tomorrow!

Yea he did, that kid deserves the credit for winning that match and Im not going to make excuses for drew, but I wouldnt anticipate a similar outcome as if he wrestles that way again I may disown him as a nephew (Im only kidding). The PC boy is alittle better in my opinion, but they're pretty close. Were just scratching the surface with andrew, he gets better every single day, just like a lot of kids Im sure, but in my biased opinion, right now, he's wrestling on a different level then anyone in that bracket or in the SW region for that matter, I dont expect him to have a close match until states, he may, but I dont expect it. Obviously, saying that, I can understand thats a pretty bold statement and it would make sense if you didnt agree, Im just saying, that's what I'm expecting from him, we'll see what happens.

Your nephew has some impressive wins and has alot of people around the area talking. I'm anxious to see him at regionals. A freshman having this kind of success @ the weight he is wrestling is impressive. Good luck!!

Yah, I agree andrew is a stud for a freshman and he will want the rematch with bafia and also berchick got him at richland in a close match also and he will see berchick at regionals that will test him again. It seems that drew has ottens number though! I want to see what he does with bafia and berchick. I saw the berchick match and if he wrestled the way he did the 2nd day against otten, I feel he would beat berchick because he didn't seem as nervous vs otten in day 2 and he didn't wrestle as aggressive vs berchick. I wish doak the best of luck and with his families support and wrestling knowledge, it will only help him achieve his goals in wrestling. Just take it 1 match at a time with him and don't look ahead and get knocked off, and he will be fine! Win districts first! He is going to be a stud for 4 years!

yah, I agree! This is the best time to get out and watch wrestling all day. Good luck to all wrestlers and make d-6 and d-5 proud. Hopefully we have a lot place in states this year. Isn't that copeland kid going to be at regionals at 152? If he is, do you think drew can knock him off? Boy that kid is like a man amongst boys! Did he wrestle him yet and if he did what were the results?

I think doak is a stud and I've seen him wrestle for years now and each time I see him he gets alot better. I feel doak will beat bafia next time on the mat and I feel it will be a major decision. However I think Berchick is also a stud. I feel berchick and doak will be the regional final and I'm ready for a great match.
