There are a couple of weight classes where neither the #2 or #3 seed made it thru to the SFs ... which means they face each other in the next consi match ... which means one of them doesn't go to Hershey ... which seems like a tough break ... but that's just the way the brackets work ... example is 285# and 195# ...

Is the SV a safety violation or something else? If you go to the escape website it has it that Hayman lost, but it says 3 to 1 SV.

I'm interested to better understand ... I think the match ended 1-1 and so went to OT ... then ended "suddenly" with the take down ... is that right?

When a match goes to ot...the 1st 1 minute period is "sudden victory, " meaning 1st points wins, penalty, takedown whatever. if still tied after the 1st minute; there is then 2 30 second rideouts. If points are scored here, the wrestlers keep going because they both have opportunity to choose their position(unless there is a pin-then it's done)
