Krupas win was very nice. Controlled the entire period. He got opening takedown, rode the kid tough before putting him on his back and pinning him.

I've been having trouble posting this morning ... anyone else?

All 4 220# QF matches ended in Fall ... Krupa loses at 3:25 ... Layton wins at 4:43 ... Rizzo wins at 3:05 ... Daley at 1:28 ...

Semi's are gonna be good!

The T-D reported Rizzo was extremely lucky to advance. His last second slam of Daley could have resulted in disqualification. Just asking- if that had happened in the semi's, would he have gotten ANY kind of medal / finish? C'mon, Johnny! Get the gold!

....since it was not flagrant misconduct, Rizzo would have been allowed to continue on to third

Again, just asking. Lets say it was ruled flagrant. Is he still allowed to go for 3rd, or is a disqualification a total disqualification? How big are the teeth in that rule?

Rizzo was just called for an illegal move...If Daly could not have continued for the final second...he wins,,, Daly vs Laytos for gold, Rizzo goes to consolations for 3rd through 6th...if someone gets nailed with flagrant misconduct..(bit a kid, tells the ref he's a @@##@@, punches everyone in sight)....Then he is thrown out, no medal, loses all points earned etc...
