d6 kids at NCAA nationals
Pretty impressive showing for former d6 wrestlers in St Louis. Quentin Wright (BEA-psu) will face S. Bosak (State College-Cornell) in the 184 lb title match. Nick Bedelyon (Indian Valley- Kent State) will be an All-American after making it to the semi's . Dylan Alton (Central Mountain- PSU) will be in the top 6 wrestling in the medal round at 11. And Mitchell Port (Bellefonte- Edin.) and AJ Schopp(Tyrone-Edin.) both made it to the round of 12 (one win shy of All-American status) also Matt Snyder (Lewistown-UVA) and Henderson(United-UNC) both qualified for the tourney. Not bad for our little patch of dirt in this big ole country! Congrats boys! You done us all proud.

13 by my count. I counted Ruth because he started at Susq. Twp. before going to Blair. 13 outta 80 is bad for what PA is used to, but looking at each bracket, at the start of the tourney, about 25 -30% of the entire field were pa kids. BTW- 4 of the 13 AA's were d6 kids.
