If any player in the ICC/SHL goes with any answer other then McConnellsburg then they are completely out of their mind......this may be one of the best HIGH SCHOOL fields in the area. With the beatiful infield and the chance of playing their games under the lights.....I feel there is no field in the area to match...I know Somerset is nice with the turf infield and a nice all around facility but when playing against the Spartans, it is just a great feeling to play there......they announce the lineups, play the National Anthem and they also play music between innings....I feel this is by far a great place for high school ball

Shaler Area's Matulevic Field, the best on-site HS baseball field in the state. Many WPIAL and PIAA playoff games have been hosted here.

How does Haymaker Field in Murraysville compare with the field at Shaler?
Several regional American Legion tourneys were held at Haymaker...

Shaler's field is great...Haymaker is too...2 best fields in WPIAL, along with Pullman Park in Butler.

The Point is definitely the best field I ever played on. Actual dugouts and the wall isn't just a chain link fence. I think the Point is the best, hands down.
