District 5/6 football schedules are here:
Don't blame CK. Some schools wanted to change who was in what part of the conference.... Teams also don't want to give up rivalries like Bell-Tyr and Mt Union-Hunt and why would they? So in order to make it work this is what had to happen. I think it stinks too and wish things wouldn't have changed. For the entire conference I think it looks bad.

Re: District 5/6 football schedules are here:
I agree with you Coach.......the way the ICC has changed there are new teams on almost every teams schedule this year. Another thing that has been added is that all teams in the ICC must play 10 games in the regular season......maybe what happened with Claysburg was that they could'nt find another team to schedule so they just agreed to play W-burg again........I talked with the Tussey AD and he said that if they didn't add Meyersdale when they did, there may have been a possibilty of playing NBC two times if they couldn't find a team to schedule in week 10.
Re: District 5/6 football schedules are here:
NBC didn't give up the Ridge rivalry...CR is no longer in the ICC and NBC's schedule is locked in by the ICC until week 10. I imagine that NBC would love to play CR again.

The way I understand it is as follows:
There will be a small school division now and a large school division.
The CK vs Williamsburg game has nothing to do with a 10th game being scheduled and everything to do with the fact that it is the only way the schedules will work with teams keeping their traditional rivalry games like BA and Mt Union do.
The ICC schedule also seems like it tries to keep Williamsburg off Bellwood's schedule. Although they still play Everett and Mt Union who are AA.
It is weird that this 12 team conference can't stay within itself for week 10 games as well. There will be some neat week 10 matchups, but it is strange to say the least. Bellwood plays Richland from what I read. Tussey plays Meyersdale. Northern Bedford plays the third place finisher from District 9 AAA (Punxsy, Clearfield, or Bradford).
How would it work if there were no divisions and the teams just rotated schedules? I know the conference boundaries are huge though so that probably has something to do with how things work. Everett is probably close to 2 full hours from Mo Valley, Glendale, and West Branch.

I have a feeling after this two year cycle the ICC will probably go to a ten game schedule for the 2014 season.

That would be kind of sad if they would, because that could possibly get rid of a classic season starting rivalry classic match-up between traditional football powerhouses Tyrone and Bellwood-Antis, it would be a sad day to see the Backyard Brawl trophy set up on a shelf and forgotten. Although a merger of the two schools woould do this also, and I would rather see a merger ending this rivalry game over the ICC making an all in conference schedule.

Ask Chestnut Ridge how not having any conference alignment and rotating a free-lance schedule is working for them. I think almost every away game is quite a trip for them, including 2 out of state games.
Re: District 5/6 football schedules are here:
yea should have stayed in the MAC but we were fine in the ICC until NBC kicked us out heck i talk to everett people who say that was all NBC's doing people from NBC that I work with admit we got hosed in that deal sooo yea
Re: District 5/6 football schedules are here:
its even funnier whenever NBC fans tell ya they wish they played ya but their head coach liikes a soft schedule NBC fault and our own we gotta go 900 miles for a game
