I think people are still trying to figure out if Pitt's latest recruit is even a person. I think he is rated negative 2 stars on rivals and had offers from St. Francis and Gannon.

Penn State has EIGHT recruits who have NEVER played a down of their senior year and know nothing about the head coach they will be playing for next year. Nothing wrong with that scenario. Tell me, since O'Brien hasn't looked at any game film from last years Nittany Lions, has he looked at any of the kids who have verballed to PSU for next year?

Nope, they are going into everything blind for the next few years. O'Brien has no clue what he is doing. Luckily these kids are dumb enough to believe he does. Has anyone seen Paul Chryst yet? I think I saw him in Portage last week trying to get another committ.

Believed or accepted? Graham wasn't around long enough to see what the future would bring. As an 85 year old man, all I have to do is sit back and watch. O'Brien is the one who has to produce. And why should I fear whether or not O'Brien has a clue about what he is doing? If he fails, he'll have the eternal excuse about him playing with guys he didn't recruit. He'll get a pass for a few years, before the natives get restless. Until then.....

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Penn State says it has strengthened policies overseeing the supervision and treatment of minors taking part in university programs or being housed on campus.

The university said the changes announced Tuesday were part of a comprehensive review in the wake of the child sexual abuse charges against retired assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. He says he is innocent of dozens of criminal counts involving 10 boys, including allegations of abuse on school property.

Among the changes are required background checks for anyone dealing with minors, whether that person is paid or a volunteer, regardless of affiliation with Penn State.

Bullying was prohibited under the revised policy, which also discussed privacy issues including the limitations of cameras and digital equipment in private areas.

The policies are in effect immediately.
