I know the kid got hot last yr and haven't been able to pay much attention to him this yr but can he tak eover first base when he is ready or just another "Matt Hague" type of platoon player?

Very Hague like. In my opinion. Power isn't a strength of his, much like Hague. This team doesn't really have any type of long term answer at 1B in the system, unless Bell is moved there which would be a waste of his athletic ability and strong OF arm but is still a possibility. I have higher hopes for Dickerson than Curry honestly. I think Dickerson could possibly develop into a 20 HR guy.

I agree on Dickerson I hope they can sign Mr. Appel as well it doesn't sound to optimistic though

He'll sign. He gains nothing from not signing, and risks losing a lot.
