Hot Bats
Hot Bats
Early in the season the pitching was pretty good but the Buccos were slacking at the plate and let's face it... you have to score runs to win games. Now that the bats are going they're going to be tough to beat and if they keep it up they'll stay in this close NL Central race. The question is... Will they stay hot more often than not? They looked good mid-season last year but fell off toward the end of the season. Here's to breaking that losing streak! Continue to raise the Jolly Roger baby!!!

Re: Hot Bats
59 of their remaining games are against sub .500 teams, they will finish over .500 and stay in the playoff race all year. To make the playoffs however I still feel they need to add a bat, a starter but that can be fixed by calling up Owens or Locke from AAA, and possibly a reliever.

That's good info JD. I knew they had a ton of games against the Cubs and Astros left and they aren't too good.

Also got 6 with the Padres, 3 with the Rockies, and a ton with the Brewers. All of whom are also pretty bad.
