Team Toughness Altoona

Post by jayjay6218 »

So I have seen some of my Tyrone FB Friends complaining about Altoona changing their motto to Team Toughness Altoona. Tyrone under the helm of Franco had the saying Team Toughness Tyrone, and has continued with the motto even after Franco's departure. Personally I could care less but what do you all think, Should Tyrone fans be upset or just get over it? Same with Altoona? etc...

(Sorry this board has been dead as of late and I am trying to stir up any debate at all.)

IF Tyrone fans are upset about this they really need to relax. Mottos don't win games. Besides, did Tyrone have that trademarked? I doubt most people in Tyrone really care.

Being from Tyrone, I have not heard anyone really complaining about it with regards to the fans. A couple of the players have taken it a little personally, one namely being Senior LB Ben Makdad. Other than that, no one really matters because in all honesty it's just a motto.....and besides Tyrone would totally whoop Altoona anyway, so let em have their three words xD They still don't have the benefit of alliteration on their side lol

Don't matter. They couldn't keep up in terms of dist titles when there were only 2-4 AAAA schools in D6. Looking at their schedule now, they should win 2-4, maybe 3 tossups(being generous) and 3....well, younger brothers are familiar with what's gonna happen on the other 3 dates. I wish John well, but never liked or respected many others up there, especially the AD.
