Re: 2nd scrimmages
jayjay- No, thank God they aren't on the regular schedule for us. The season will be tough enough as it is.

Heights dominated Bedford. Bedford QB injured playing defense, tried to tackle Tyler Crawford high, left with arm in a sling. Backup QB appeared more than adequate.

Being a little negative Manfred? If there is one thing I've learned it is to never count out a Don Bailey coached football team. Have faith man!

I finally got to see my beloved trojans last night. As I suspected Johnstown is in for a looooonnnggggg year. They were scored upon more times than the Windber cheerleaders when I was back in high school!

JD, after many years, and many things other than high school sports, I've learned that if your expectations aren't very high, you aren't as badly disappointed. And, as a consequence, great success is then a cause for celebration.

Windber and Northern Cambria pretty much played even up. Neither team had trouble moving the ball and both suffered from turning the ball over. If I had to pick, I'd say Windber is the better of the two teams but I could very well be seeing that thround blue and white glasses..
