Re: Friday 8/31 Updates
Ive been on this site since 2006 and its harder each year to come back. I feel like I'm Bill Murray in Groundhog's Day. I read and reread the same tired a$$ banter year after year. " Mccort recruits...Richland fans whine...Johnstown is undisciplined...my school does no wrong and yours does everything wrong." Would it be too much to ask to keep a thread about scores and updates about scores and updates? Sadly, I suppose that is asking too much.
Anyway, was at PC-Jtown game. This is as bad as a Johnstown team they have had since entering the lhac. I knew it was going to be a rough year but thought they would be a little more competitive. The lone bright spot is their punter. 55 yarder in the air for a touchback. They start way to many 9th and 10th graders to win much this year.
Great job by PC. Totally dominated.

Re: Friday 8/31 Updates
Some observations from Loretto. McCort should have a pretty solid offense this year. Tomkowski looked great at QB with a good group of wideouts. Running back depth could be an issue. Belskey didn't play tonight, carry over suspension, but also has a bad knee and Wyatt Jackson was injured tonight hopefully it wasn't serious. However Nate James and Tyler Rugg looked good running it tonight. Defense stuffed the run very well. Controlled the line of scrimmage, secondary looked shaky. Spangler got burnt deep twice for long TDs and there were a few other occasions BC missed open WRs. Lots of penalties on both sides tonight. Looking forward to hosting the Rangers next week. Big issue this year with McCort though will be depth. If they stay healthy though, could be a pretty good year on Osborne St.

Richland Fan, what the hell is successive faceless? Is it a new penalty I've never heard of? I thought Don Bailey invented football, not Brandon.

Re: Friday 8/31 Updates
Never said I was excited. Even mentioned how RB has me worried, depth worries me, and how the secondary looked bad. Then again most seasons at Richland when those 3 things are the only issues, thats reasons for excitement!

When you said "could be a pretty good year on Osborne St.", sounds to me like you are excited.
Re: Friday 8/31 Updates
I was impressed with Cambria Heights. They have size, speed, and their QB can pass. They should have some success this year. No offense, i know the situation with Patton boro and the school but, their field and facilities are just terrible.
