Drew Shubik. He scores at least 20 points every game, but what is often over looked is that he is in double digit assists nearly every game. He could take all the shots, but he knows teams will double team him every night and his teammates will have open looks. He elevates the game of all his teammates. That is a statistic you can't see the newspaper everyday. College coaches notice it, though, and there are a lot of them recruiting him.

Ben McCulley from Yough is definetly very good. i played with him when he was a freshman at a basketball camp at waynesburg college. he was like 6'6" then. I was a soph. then and he and I won the 2 on 2 tourney there for 9-12th grade. all u had to do was dump the ball down to him and he scored everytime. definetly d-1 skills.

didn't add to the topic, but Coach's post is killing me. "he killed PC with about 8-10 three pointers missing like three of them" Last time I looked 10 - 8 was two. Sorry Coach! Just couldn't resist.

Easy basketballfan420. I don't think because Shubik wasn't in the first four replies is a reason to get in a uproar and start attacking the board. Most people who follow local hoops know that Shubik is arguably one of the best three or four small school guards in western pa.

Remember So. Co. that most of the people on the board are Bedford Cty. fans and don't see much of the WeakPAC schedule. It's a shame though that Bedford and Somerset county teams don't play each other more or have some kind of league on basketball!

I agree that Shubik is the best all-around player in D5

well im sure ridge, tussey, nbc, hyndman, and everett would play in the weakpac, but i think bedfords set in the LHAC...much better competition

If the Bisons don't soon start getting some W's they can forget about the playoffs. To me the only advantage of the LHAC is to increase your level of play by better competition. If you don't win though it doesn't ever do any good.

high school sports arent supposed to be about winning bedrock, theyre about getting better and playing the best competition available...if bedford wanted to win they would switch to ICC or WeakPAC and enjoy the undefeated seasons
