Not sure how the ICC jv schedule works, but in most leagues jv's play the same teams as the varsity.
Why would the jv's play when the varsity hasn't played each other in 20 years?

NBC did beat BA last year in the j.v. game 14-6. I'm not sure how many from NBC varsity team this year played in that game, but not to many from BA's varsity this year played in last years j.v. game......just saying.

In some of the smaller school, they just can't field a j.v. team. So in this case, both BA and NBC needed to fill a spot on their j.v. schedule and it worked out that they could play each other.....so they did.

Yeah there are plenty of ICC schools that don't field JV teams. I know Mount Union has played Huntingdon, Moshannon Valley, and Bellwood-Antis this year at least, and I think we might have played NBC?

To play JV in the future with the numbers for basically every team in the ICC, 9th graders will need to move up. If they don't then JV is almost out of the question. There are too many teams with 25ish players now.

This should be a good game i hope. Williamsburg plays at MoValley and will lose. I'm gonna see if my dad wants to go to this game instead. My dad said N.Bedford has avoided playing Bellwood for a lot of years. My dad use to be a coach so he would know. Other Icc coaches wanted big schools and small schools divisons for a long time. N.bedfords coach didnt want it that way, thats why it was north and south divisons. Now it's big and small and he said N.Bedford is trying to get back in small school so they can have easy championship every year and not play Bellwood and Jun.Valley. Both of these teams would kill W-burg, but I hope Bellwood kills N.Bedford

Well for last 6 years they have both been in ICC so no reason for not playing each other. Before that I can understand Bellwood was in Mountain Conference i think

Wrong Pirates.

In order to go to the new division the conference already has to look foolish by having Williamsburg play Claysburg twice. No other conference does that.

Bellwood also plays Tyrone taking a conference game away.

This year NB is opposite of Tussey, Williamsburg, Glendale, and Claysburg. Those are all teams that our school has played for about 50 years. Then you play the schools in your part of the conference. SH was loaded for years and NB played them yearly. JV hasn't always been this rock solid. There is more uproar around here because we don't play them and had them for decades. Mt Union in the ICC changed that some as we picked them up.

Mt Union
Eve
SH
All three of them are AA.

If NB is a team that is afraid of scheduling why are they playing a AAA school week 10 instead of just taking a bye? Do you realize the difference in A vs AAA in football?

1990 was the last matchup. Scheduling had nothing to do with Batzel as he wasn't here until the early 2000's. The ICC used to have BG, Penns Valley, etc and that is who Bellwood played since they were in that division.

Some of you guys crack me up. You really don't have a clue.

We are going to always play CK, Eve, TM, SH, Will, and Glendale.

It so happens that we have WB, Mt Union, and Bellwood in our section this year so we play them to round out our schedule. We don't see JV or MV and people don't like that either.
