District 5 A Playoff Picture

Things look like they'll go exactly like I posted after week 4.

1. Berlin - they play Windber and are the favorite in that one. A win locks up the top seed for them. An NB loss locks the top seed up for them too.

2. NBC - They host 5-4 Punxsutawney this week. The Chucks are looking to get into the subregional playoffs so this is a big game for them. NB can go as high as 1 if Windber would win this week and NB wins as well. They can go no lower than 2.

3. North Star travels to CT. The Indians are playing for a playoff birth. This could be a good game.

4. Windber plays Berlin. If Windber would win I think they would jump NS for the 3 seed but I'm not 100% sure. I have Berlin projected to win because they are physical and those teams seem to be giving the Ramblers problems.

5. Shade looks like they'll finish 6-4. The Panthers played Windber week 1 and would meet them again in round 1. They present a tough matchup for the 4 seed. If Shade would get upset and TM would win, the Titans would jump to 5. There is very little chance of this happening.


6. Tussey Mountain plays Meyersale. They have the 6 seed locked up. They could move to 5 but it is not likely. I expect a high scoring game vs Meyersdale. That game is a nice ICC vs Westpac matchup in week 10.




CT can make the playoffs if they beat North Star. Senior night...playoff spot on the line...rivalry........

Nb hosts a tough Punx team that has something to play for. Nb would only have something to play for"other than pride in saying they beat a AAA team" if Berlin loses. just wondering if NB is playing to win or r the subs coming in early to avoid injury on key players?
