I'm a football fan. Stop complaining about mccort and the other Catholic schools being private. BG a.d BC do as well as a normal school. Mccort does as well as BA. Playing mccort is no different from playing Bellwood antis. They are a football team, stop complaining.

Well, Hank, regardless of how you say my teammates and I should feel, I know this. Us seniors of that 2009 team have 3 D6 championships, 3 LHAC championships, 2 undefeated regular seasons, a 38-4 varsity record, the extreme honor of being the winningest class in McCort history, and a state championship game appearance to our names. And I promise you we're all dang proud of what we accomplished. So I do not care if you or anyone else thinks it is tainted because we did it in single A, when we are in fact a single A school.

McCort should have stayed at AA. As soon as the bar was lowered, the program followed. McCort now has a nice single A program.

I don't mean to bash. It's just an unsolved problem that will always remain. And konjo i'm surprised you care. Haven't said a word about Penns Manor. Anyhow, as an outsider it's easy to be frustrated and as an insider it's easy to not feel any different. This topic has been and will be brought up over and over again. We have to deal with it. I know for me to complain about it is like beating a dead horse, but sometimes we do have to vent and stir the pot up a bit. This is one of my only complaints of PIAA football, the parochial schools and the size of District 7 single A (way too many teams).

Just went skimming through this topic. sportsfan1000 seems to have been a jocular mood saturday morning, considering his team lost another one the night before. I didn't see that FH player interview on channel 6 Friday night. I did , however, see the replays of the safety against Johnstown and their lost fumble when the when the score was 27-24. I thought that was rather amusing. And by the way, from the Tribune Saturday morning: Don Bailey said about the game, "It wasn't easy. Johnstown has big-play capability, and they showed it tonight". Now THAT'S how you compliment an opponent you just defeated.

I'm just preaching the same song and dance. Private schools should be in their own league. The number of students at a private school are irrelevant. You might only have so many students, but if they're all good atheletes their for the "education" then what? The fact that Single "A" McCort can beat "AAA" Johnstown or big "AA" schools with consistency isn't right. The natural selection of talent is tampered with at a private school as apposed to the public school. Call it what you want, but it's still bogus. It's like being a Yankees fan. Of course you win when you get all the talent. ya know what I mean Vern?

One of the best quote i have read on here! If it is ok with 12hankQB i plan on using it over and over and over. B-)

I agree that they should have their own conference but McCort vs. Richland was one of the best games this season thus far but ey should still play teams like Richland and Forest Hills and Johnstown as non conference games.
