Looking for input please: D6SN Past Game Film Library

Post by Athens/Cat »

Hey guys, looking to get our past game film library organized into one easy to use area on the site. As it is now, we have a "Video Library" link on the top of our site which takes you to our version 1.0 site with a bunch of game film. However, aside from the easy navigation, I don't necessarily think it's the most attractive page to look at. Another downside to this page is that it's a pain to have to code it all and as a result hasnt been updated in some time.

Having said that, we want to start incorporating or meshing our YouTube channel into our main site more. The YouTube channel is great because we can make playlists and keep things in order without having to write code. So, right now I'm trying to devise a way to make our YouTube page fit into the site. Options right now are to just make a post linking the YouTube channel and always have that on our main page...or...we we could make a post with the teams/years listed and have links to all games right on our site.

If you're still reading, I'd like to hear your guys' thoughts about this and also how you guys navigate the site and if there's anything you would like to see for easier navigation.

Thanks, bleacher coaches!

I think most people are going to search either by a particular season or by a particular team, so if you could have either a search feature that allows those fields or just have cross-referenced links for those categories, I think it would work out well. I am not that familiar with how youtube channels work, but if that is possible there it would seem the easiest. Good work and good luck.
