Sad Sunday for Steelers
Extremely disappointing day for the Steelers vs. Cleveland...
Hard to think the Pittsburgh offense played as a group of professionals today. I feel for Charlie Batch who is limited on his throws, but was victimized by penalty after penalty and then the turnovers...so frustrating to watch. What would you do if each of your 4 running backs could not hold on to the ball? Did you see how Mendenhall just limped off the field after the second fumble without even being beckoned to come out...just exited the field.
The defense played well again holding Cleveland time and time again, but they are not the most explosive team in the league.
Sure, the Steelers are devastated with injuries; but, to have the level of play sink that quickly is alarming. Should someone be released? The special teams were threatened with such measurers... I just cannot understand all the fumbles...How did they appear all in one game?
Back to my point about professionals...these guys work all week to prepare for a performance on Sunday.. prepare, prepare, prepare... How could things get so bad so quick? What if Heath Miller goes down with an injury? They would have no offensive production. From a leadership standpoint, I would not know where to begin. Obviously, injuries play a key, key role in the NFL so how do you prepare the second/third level of players to try to maintain some level of production.
Now you can see why Big Ben deserves the credit/paycheck he receives...
Unbelievable performance for 4 quarters...especially the last two.
Seems like a changing of the guard is looming in the 'Burg....
In a selfish viewpoint, would like to see one more run with Harrison, Woodley, Polamalu, and Hampton...not sure though if it is too late.

What have the Steelers done since Rooney made that remark during the post-game celebration of their last Super Bowl win??? Absolutely nothing!!! And look at all the bad luck they have had. Starting with Big Ben's motorcycle wreck up until the present day. When Rooney was handed the Super Bowl Trophy that day, he could have thanked his players, his coaches, or the Steeler Nation. But instead he thanked President Obama who was inaugurated 2 weeks previously. And that has made all the difference. The Obama Curse.

I'm not an Obama fan nor did I vote for him, but Moldo you make yourself look more foolish each day. Did you also see a UFO over your Mom's house last night? Are you hiding in your basement until 2012 is over?
