No doubt... But he's that kind of WR. He'll be a gamebreaking WR at the college level.

I understand your hope of him going to Pitt because of your location, but as a college football fan, would you rather see him used as just a WR at Pitt? or Would you like to see him lined up all over the field where he can get maximum touches in such offenses as WV or Arizona? Take the homer answer out of it.

What does this have to do w/ being a Pitt fan or not. I'm saying what style of WR he is and how good he is. He wouldn't be listed as the #8 WR in the land if he wasn't that good. Yes I'd like to see him lined up all over the field and get the maximum touches. Hence the Percy Harvin comparison. Me being a Clairton guy considers him earning a College Degree and breaking the cycle as the best possible scenario, whether that's Pitt, Kent State, WVU, ND, or ECU.

Thank you. I found this site pretty useful to keep up on PIAA playoffs from very far away.

I agree with Animus. There's an old cliche "They'll find you". And that's especially true in the NFL. You look at how many kids mature later and are from 1aa or D2 schools and make the league and the Parade All Americans just fizzle out. Top 50 Rivals players from 2006 only 13 are in the NFL right now I read. So if your any kid not just Boyd you go somewhere you feel comfortable with the coaches and like the academics and if you stay healthy and work hard you could have a shot. If not worst case scenario you have a degree and a free education and enjoy your life.

I agree with the degree first, but I'm just saying he can thrive and his skills can be showcased more in WV and Arizona systems. I'm not denying he'd be good at Pitt, but that offense doesn't fit his skill set. Anthony you make a great point on him being comfortable. If he feels comfortable most at PItt then have at it.

But Please, C'mon with the Percy Harvin comparisons. It's not even close. Percy was ranked #1 player in the country. Boyd #17 at position and #60 nationally. That's still great and something to be proud of and I hope this kid flourishes in college. BUT to compare him to Percy Harvin, right now, is just being unrealistic. Percy was bigger, faster, and stronger.

Dude... I'm talking about his skill sets being comparable to Harvin. Not where he ranks according to worthless subscription sites like Scout or MaxPreps. When you see him play, you'll see what I'm talking about.
