Jared Bilchak was hired as the varsity head baseball coach 2 weeks ago at the November 27th school board meeting & Ridge has a 20 game schedule with 3 double headers scheduled with NBC, Forbes & Hyndman. Maxpreps had a game scheduled with Tyrone listed but that appears to be incorrect since it is March 27th same date as Windber game.

No, that's not what I said . Read my quote again:

"There was another name that hasn't been mentioned who was also an excellent choice if he had been hired. He was definitely interested at one point but that may have changed. I honestly don't know who all applied, who all was in the running, or when the decision will be announced. "

Meaning, the other name that wasn't mentioned in this forum would have been a great choice IF he had been hired.

Thanks CRBL Baseball for making the announcement. It has been known for several weeks, but I didn't want to put that out if the decision wasn't announced. I do believe that Mr. Bilchak will be an excellent coach. I know the varsity football team has a lot of respect for him. I also hope that Kelbi stays on to assist, and guys like Mike W., Mike F., Brad M., and other former CR baseball standouts will help out in any way they can. These guys care about the program and the kids and would make a very positive impact.
