He's back

Post by Oldskoolhoops »

Jack Loya has returned to the area. After being an assistant at Friends' Central (philadelphia) for the past year he has returned to help his son at Penn Highlands. He should play a tremendous role in recruiting especially from England and the West Coast. The way he develops players is unmatched especially in the post. I think his defensive tactics will add a level of aggression to Penn Highlands that they haven't had in the past. Grant Speigle said Jack was the #1 reason he took his talents to Penn Highlands. He suffered first hand to Coach Loya while he was playing at CT and Jack coached at NS, he said when he heard Jack was joining Landon and Tim he knew PHCC was the place for him.

Oldskool the comments about the Speigle boy are completely wrong not sure where you get your info but you need a new source.
Loya will add nothing to PHCC, nobody did less with more talent than he did while at NS.

Jack did less with more talent? He won district and wstpac titles. He develoed kavar, zellem, petrilla, walker, and strasiser into dominate post players. He has connections in europe and on the west coast, look at the players he has got into the mount for Lance. The man is a defensive mastermind, the aggressive nature he brings to his ball clubs is unparallel. He has been working very hard with Speigle's post game so he is able to make Gary Payton type post plays just as he taught most of the guards at Friends' Central last season.
