If you tune in to PCN tomorrow night they will break down the games and there will be no Western guys from the media on there this year and of the 4 games they will all emphatically pick NA I'll guarantee it and that's just reiterating my point I'm truly just calling what I see. I think Aliquippa having their hands full and I'm not bashful about saying that! Now with that I agree these are 16-17 yr old kids and anything is possible. Coatesville knows they're the underdog so does their coach. But that's a fun role to play and you get extremely motivated. It was just 2 years ago a team named North Allegheny that lost their regular season finale to North Hills and everybody in the state was picking LaSalle college including the Pittsburgh Post Gazette! And North Allegheny beat them by 3tds and I seriously think threw 3 passes! I'm hoping it's a great game.

Would NA beat Juniata College? Serious question... That team is one of the greatest I've ever seen in PA.

The Pittsburgh CC team of 2004 that held LeSean McCoy to 30 yds rushing in the semi's and at one point was up on Neshaminy in the title game 28-0 before Neshaminy got a first down is still my all time favorite. That team was loaded. CBWest 1998 was pretty impressive as well. This years NA team is just extremely balanced and well coached too. I'll wait and see what happens Sat night before I put them in the other twos category. But only one team coming within 10 points all year and the numbers they put up are certainly impressive

I think they would. Juniata is one of the weaker D3 teams and this NA team has numerous D1 and D2 players on it.

Totally agreed. I think if you talked to anybody who's been really following PA ball for a while they'd agree that PCC '04 is the best team they've ever seen.

well, you'd be wrong. at least with me. I've seen many a great team, but I go back farther than "a while"....the CBWs, Berwick led by Powlus or Kelchner....Quippa in 88..all monster teams..I don't think you can call any team "the best ever". Best of the year, yep. And to compare a high school team to a college team at any level is ridiculous. Maybe on a given sunday, but not on a regular basis...remember, even D3 teams are basically all star teams compared to high school teams.

I think 04 PCC beats any of the 97-01 CBW's by two scores. And that's just from my memory of watching them play. PCC was so dominant on both sides of the ball it was almost to the point where you didn't even want to go watch because you knew what was gonna happen. Now I can't say that I was around and saw the 88 Quip team (which I believe Gilbert was on) so I'll have to take your word for teams like that.

I saw the CBW teams and Picciotti was probably my favorite high school player I ever saw. Digiacomo was no slouch either. But I still take '04 PCC by 14.

If you're not already, tune into PCN and watch the clinic NA is putting on. I told you, numbers and stats don't lie. This one will get ugly.
