Somerset gets big win tonight.

I'm not talking about the Somerset game. Its their track record. They have done the for many many years. Proof? No I don't have the money to launch an investigation but its obvisious. They get real friendly with one teams coach and are cold to the other. Then they get big grins of enjoyment once they make a blatant bad call creating a moment swing for the team they are homering for. Its sick.

And the somerset game didn't go like that. Somerset was back in it way before the so called need to foul lie happened. It was 66-63 in the 4th late j-town before PROOF willis and herman called ludicrist fouls on barnes who was hot and brought somerset back only to foul him out. One play that was totally bogus was barnes had a defensive rebound while boxing out and a j-town kid went over the back and pulled barnes down to the floor and they called a hold on barnes. Another was helsley dribbling the full wide open court and a j-town kid came and bumped into him while reaching and knocked him hard to the floor causing the ball to go out and they gave it to j-town and no foul. Another barfield picked up his dribble and barnes grabbed the ball with both hands and they called his 5th foul when it was a jump ball. Another was the possesion when barnes was hot and 66-63 j-town late in the 4th and they called a 5 second call against barnes and it was 2 maybe 3 seconds to cost somerset the possession to tie it. And in the first half barron was hitting and doing the scoring and they gave him 3 bad foul calls to put him to the bench and 13-2 is ludicrist for a ref game.Do you remember those calls and the homer job somerset got now??? J-town will get it back when they come to somerset and hopefully somerset wins and you will be doing the crying like you always do. And this was just a few calls and difference the refs made in this game. Their was a heck of a lot more.

had willis ref many of my boys games over the past 4 years at c.t. and never once saw him favor one team over another.. seen missed calls and bad calls here and there but thats part of the game no one is perfect.... maybe its different when they do jtown i dont know and wont say because i never saw a game they reffed with them. also watched them do a few shade games and never saw any favoritism. i am sure somerset will win the next game at their house.

I don't know about that. Somerset has wilkow, mostoller, and barnes all out right now. All 3 should be back for the playoffs They did knock off richland without those 3. They are an up and down team though and can beat any top team, but also can lose to an average team on an off night. They don't play defense and that is why I couldn't believe all the fouls called on them. They don't play aggressive enough ever to foul out except against j-town. I saw willis ref games other than j-town and ferndale and he wasn't cheating, but bad. Now I saw him when ferndale and j-town plays and it gets ugly. He is a j-town boy!! Down that way against a j-town team, he is different. Seen him a lot of years ref. Football is just as bad for him. Can definitely change the outcome of a game.

Understand this. This is arguably Johnstown's worst team this millennium and Somerset still lost. Oh, it was the refs

Somerset isn't that good either. So don't judge j-town beating them as a great win. Depends on what day you get somerset. Can't be a consistent team by shooting 3's and playing no defense. To be honest, I don't think their is a dominant team in the lhc. On any given night is the way I see it. Their are some great players, but not great overall teams that will go anywhere. I think shade would be right up their with these teams this year and ct.

Im not so sure about CT but I agree with you that Shade would definitely be a contender in the lhac this year

Shade scrimmaged most of the lhc teams early before the season and did well against them. I will have a better understanding from ct after they play tom. night at shanksville because I feel the vikings are on the same level as westy, bedford, central cambria type teams in the lhc. Somerset gave the vikings their only loss and it wasn't a pretty game for the vikings. They weren't in it at all and got blown out. I think somersets jv team would beat shanksville. The west pac is no comparison to the lhc which it shouldn't be because of the numbers, but I think shade and ct would be very competitive with any lh team.

always tough to play at shanksville, on paper c.t. should win but we always have trouble there... you will be able to compare c.t. to lhac next month as they will play richland.
