Just ignore him chief because he likes to rip on people on here calling them names and such. I know what you were saying for the teams that were there from the wpial, they weren't that good, not saying all the teams, just the ones you saw. Anyways it is peoples opinions whether right or wrong on here, you don't need to treat them ignorant with remarks like that.

the wpial 4&5 years ago dominated but i do think they are not as strong as they once were. I think there will be a little more parody this year at SW regional.

One school to look at is Shady Side Academy. A few years ago they were loaded. At regionals every weight had a SSA wretle in it. Now looking at SSA today I believe they only have 2 wrestlers on the team. Not only is the quantity down, but so is the quality. I know it's just one team, but imo d5 and d6 have the upper hand on wpial.

I think with the popularity (and increase) of wrestling clubs like Young Guns, district 5/6 will only continue to get better. I think this is just the start of many more years to come of high-level wrestling. I know it is just kids/JH, but there are alot of state-level kids in the pipelines now that will be coming up in a couple years.
