I agree with Odoyel. Even if he was ducking Buttry (which i dont think he was) i dont think it would matter if he was 1 or 2 seed. They will both make the finals if nothing crazy happens.

Buttry had about 40 seed points on him headed into the Thomas tourney.
Maybe Hall was under the assumption that since he beat Buttry @ Thomas tourney, that they wouldn't restle in the dual meet??
I mean that was the Berlin/CR deal earlier in the year.

I don't think it was Hall's decision. I believe it was his head coach's decision to leave him behind.
