Re: Coaches of the Year
I would have to give fyock and lushko from ct some consideration in the west pac. Fyock played over half his season without the top player in the west pac and probably the lhc also. That is an accompishment in itself to move him ahead of everyone. Lushko lost a lot of good players and has ct at the top. Jmo. Also, fyock beat ferndale at ferndale and gave the vikings all they could handle missing an mvp.
Re: Coaches of the Year
They are all good opinions but I agree Snyder should get it. He is making us buy into what he is doing with that team! But whoever is chosen will be well deserving!

I gotta go with CT's coach Lesko not Lushsko. No "big" man to work with, yet still at the top of the WestPAC and D-5 standings. Fyock and Snyder are both great coach's too.

Re: Coaches of the Year
All of the coaches mentioned do a great job, my reasoning for choosing coach Durham for the WestPac was based on what he has done with what he has. Now my opinion is slightly biased because I have always been a big fan of him but he has done more with less than all the other coaches. CT is the biggest school in the Westpac and probably the most talented I think Lesko is a good coach but he has more talent than anyone. The same goes for Fyock good coach but is loaded with talent even with Fyock missing games they are still more talented then every team on their side of the WestPac. All the coaches mentioned deserve coach of the year.

Re: Coaches of the Year
Hilltopper, I agree that Coach Durham does a great job. Unfortunately, Coach of the Year awards historically go to the coach of a team at the top of the standings. Not saying that's right, just saying. By the way, North Star and Windber are at least 2 schools in WestPAC that are bigger than CT.
Re: Coaches of the Year
I disagree with fyock loaded with talent minus his kid. Example shanksville slade/ wade walker wilt/n. walker medva/platt fleegle/pyles gardner/ kiser. Shade still is decent without ryan, but come on man take any best player off a team and see if they can overcome adversity like shade did. The vikings have just as good of talent, and more size and a deeper bench and shade almost beat them. All I am saying is take the top player off of any other team in our area and see how many wins they get. Fyocks team has 1 loss and that is pretty good in my eyes to garner coach of the year honors. Fyock gets the most out of his players that he even has to put 5 on the court to still win without ryan. Most would take shanksvilles team over shades above any day, and shade still almost beat the vikings. Now with fyock, it is a different story.

Re: Coaches of the Year
Durham no where near coach of the year. Ferndale is a 7 seed in single A. Middle of the pack in the west pac. Cozie Aliquo from BC is hands down the coach of the year. Durham isn't in the top 12. Middle of the pack in the west pac and 7 seed...c'mon.

Why is Shade beating Ferndale an accomplishment?
