relax gunner, I don't offend easily and I try from time to time to stir things up on here.
Here's an observation: I glad I'm not part of the first graduating class in Bedford history to lose to ridge two times in a row. Also the first class to lose to a county team at home ever (last year). Now these firsts for Ridge show how dominate Bedford has been for a long time in most county sports.
Here the way I see it. It seems to me the last couple of years have been down for Bedford in football, basketball, and wrestling. Are the wheels starting to come off the Stampede bus? Or is this just a hiccup and Bedford will return to dominance in the near future? I don't know the answer but I will say this Bedford over the last 5 years has lost a lot of good coaches with tons of experience (Shoemaker, Shank, Waugerman in football, John Black and Craig Harris in Basketball, Glenn Burkett in wrestling and Gary Waurgerman in baseball). You just don't replace those guys and Bedford is seeing the results of such a transition.

"I'm your huckleberry"
My thoughts exactly Southpaw. You can't replace quality coaching with the experiences and successes of the guys you named over night. I hope it is a hiccup, but only time will tell. Two years ago Bedford was 14-3 in duals, so lets hope Top can right the ship quickly.
And for the record, a little controversy livens things up here a little. It gets boring at times and this forum needs someone to take a bite out of a topic.

i think if the 'oldschool' coaches would have stuck around a year or two and allowed the new head coaches to assist them those 2 years, the transition would have been alot better for the bisons. but having new guys that dont know hardly anything about the tradition come in w/ no help or anything, and that hurts alot
