Tried of fat lazy bleacher refs riuning the game

Tired of going to a game finding a good place to sit, than have to listen to a jerk scream about everything the official might miss or not call or even make a bad call. I have heard officials been called every name in the book. Call it fair, .why you cheating and more. My question to the fat lazy foul, big mouth jerk. If you know the game so well, never make a bad call from the bleacher, see everything that goes on on the floor from your perched view not on the floor level, what are you doing in the stands?? You should be wearing the striped shirt yourself!!!!
Or maybe your to out of shape to run the floor with 18 and 19 year old kids. Maybe you don't know has much has you think, or maybe you don't have the balls to to step out on the floor. It's so easy to blame the officials for everything,but think about this, are the officials the ones that missed the easy layups, only shot 25% from the free throw line, 35% from the field, didn't know when to take a time out to stop momentum from the other team. Grow a set and run the floor or shut up and let me enjoy the game.

WOW! Hey growaset, I'll let ya know what game I'm going to next. You can sit with me (Usually on the top row) and we'll watch all the crazy (adult) fans make fools of themselves. They're not all fat by the way. I've seen skinny bleacher refs ruin games too. Sometimes I like to sit up top and try to figure out which one is their kid. It usually doesn't take long.

I was once one of those people in the bleachers, complaining and yelling at the officials. I was also one who went and took the test and officiated for about 10 years in the Frederick, MD area. I quit officiating because I switched jobs and my work schedule interferred with me continuing to officiate. I have also been a coach and player. Not every game is so horribly officiated, but there are times when people have the right to voice their opinion. As an official I paid no attention to the crowd and did not acknowlege their existence. I wouldn't even turn around and look when someone yelled something. I exercised during and after the season to stay in shape to keep up with the pace of the game. Many of the officials in this area are old and out of shape. They can't keep up with the action and are out of position. As an official, if you are in good position you are able to make the correct call. Recently at a game in Frostburg, MD, while watching my cousins play I yelled at an official for an obvious call he missed. He told a kid from the opposing team you can't throw a punch while going for a loose ball, if he saw it again he was calling a foul. That clown deserved the criticism.

Somehow growaset seems to think that bad officiating is acceptable and the norm. I too took the test and officiate games. I also can ignore peoples criticisms especially when they are not warranted, but most importantly if they want a debate on any of my calls, I can back them up with facts because I take the time to get the calls right. I also know the rules and I get in the position to make the right calls. Most importantly don't exercise any favoritism to any school, player or league, period. I too pay to get into watch games my kids play in, I never officiate with a conflict of interest at hand, and if I want to call out a missed or bad call as a fan, that is my prerogative. If you don't like it growaset then sit somewhere else and do your thing, what ever it is.

d6footballfan, no where did i say bad officiating is acceptable or the norm, unless you a part of the norm i don't see how you could get that. just because you pay 5 bucks to get into a game does that give you the right to verbally abuse a person. I have been to schools to watch games that they read a little speech about behavior toward players teams and officials. Just like what ever you do for a living the are good and there are bad I full heartily agree. But no where did i bash,criticize,bad mouth officials. When you make it personal against a person you have never meet on your entire live, what gives you the right to criticize him or her on every action her or she makes on the floor, what i guess that 5 dollars you paid to WATCH a game gives a person the right, MY BAD

Get real growaset. These kids playing the games put long hard hours in to get to the level of play they are at. You sound like a Boss Hog dude that is a righteous control freak who thinks its justified to toss aside hard work to accomplish a goal taken away from a run down wannabe who thinks winning isnt important or has a hidden agenda for their own personal gain. Go to a pro game or collegiate game and take a long listen, same thing happens; officials getting berated to the lowest forms of the life and those officials dont hear a thing nor do they care. Nor do I, unless your really a fan of the players and the game.

By the way its called competition, something our current culture seems to frown on. I enjoy a good match, game, what ever; and fans bring the excitement to the games and the money. When we start dictating what fans are allowed to say and when, then whats the point. They can say whatever they want as far as I am concerned, they just cant act out on it. If they do God help them. Also if what they are saying is really stupid, so what!!!! I am not the stupid police and I am not there being paid to judge or take in their opinions, period. That is the game, get with it man!!

WTF dude you need to read whats written I just think the game is more enjoyable to watch then having a bunch of load mouths scream about every little thing, unless you are one of those people sorry. Sorry if you are one of them. I think officials have one of the toughest jobs out there, nite after nite the are expected to be perfect from start to finish, this is impossible. Officials have the right to blow a call they are only human, I have been to pro games i had season ticket to the NETS and attend over a hundred KNICKS games, Also had a season ticket package for 5 years to Brenden Bryne Arena At the Meadowlands when they had college teams come in and play, pro basketball is a business not a game. High school kids play their hearts out just to play the game. You need to step back and reread. If I offended you, because you can't read please accept my apologies

REALLY, kids only play to play the game, REALLY!!. They are playing to win!! growaset. SO when you went to your pro games you never heard an idiot or two or more yelling at players or officials, REALLY!. Why do you in the stands feel the need to point out the knuckleheads? TO prove your not one of THEM maybe and your better than them? I see and read quite well thanks maybe even a little between the lines.

d6footballfan, I could not agree with you more than going and watching a good GAME, you some how think i am attacking officials The game is about the kids it has and always should be about the kids and all their hard work, people have the right to voice their opinions that what this great country is all about. But when you scream and carry on like an idiot over a so-called competition, look around first take notice of your surrounding, the little brothers and sisters, the grandparent,aunts and uncles that paid the same admission you did to enjoy the COMPETITION. This goes on at the 3-4 grade i have even witness it at the 1st grade level of competition.
