I'd say it's weak depth wise and they have a few top notch kids but are the weakest overall district at regionals.

And the reason I say it has been a bad day for WB is because they lost alot of close matches that they probably should have won in the prelims.

Looks like another Brown-Burket match tomorrow. Burket got closer in second match. He's only been wrestling 4 or 5 years, but I think its 4. Not bad at all.

Have to agree with Sparky to a point... There are some studs, but I think where we are lacking is depth in top talent....usually there are several at each weight that can make noise at Reg and hershey. Thats not there now. But there are alot of above avg kids in this tourney that would take some luck or injury issues to get past the next step. Everything goes in cycles, the shame is that dist 5 has a plethora of talent and only get 3 to jtown,...personally it should be a subjective year by year case like NCAA qualifiers based on rankings and wildcards.

Burkett started wrestling in 5th or 6th grade. He might be getting closer to Brown but I dont think he's gonna beat him. JMO

I agree kidcoach, too much experience going for Brown, but still rootin for Burket. Always a chance, and who wants it the most.

there could be a third round for Hoenstine and Corle at regionals. Hoenstine was beating Corle pretty good at dual meet then he pooped out and Corle pinned him in third. Then at Thomas tournament Hoenstine beat him by 4 points I believe. I think Corle is ranked at like 14 in state.

How many consolation rounds did they have today? Plus what time does the wrestling start back up tomorrow morning?
