Left eye: can't believe you took a shot a poo bear! Your response didn't answers my question. I didn't want bc perspective. I wanted your perspective on the article. I want to know if you think bc should have at least in passing mentioned cr medaling instead of giving us a detailed debriefing on his appt with dr yanoshek. Lol
Odoyle: not sure why I'm targeted about the south Bedford farm team. Schools with more than one high school have always confused me about where kids participate in sports. Liggy and laurel had a similar situation can anyone comment on how they handled kids moving from one school to another for sports?

I know one thing that would perk joe beegles ears up is if 100's of cr fans boycotted the gazette by canceling their subscriptions. I not a boycotter that would hurt people working their like our buddy Phil. Lol

Southpaw I mentioned you because I thought that you've previously commented about the inappropriateness of open enrollment with regards to athletics. I think that the topic was football @ Pittsburgh city schools, and I agreed with your comments regarding the matter. Locally back when BASD had Hyndman open athletes could have easily elected to goto whichever of the 2 schools provided better athletic opportunity for them. It doesn't appear as though that happened regarding wrestling, idk about other sport squads.

I do think it would have been nice to give them some love in his article.
However, you also didn't answer any of my questions? How do you CR people want it. You compare yourselves to Bedford when it suits but get mad when it doesn't.
Odoyle- There was a Topper the wrestled and played football for Bedford in the late 90's. Youngest son from that family. The Gibbons family was also from Buffalo Mills but attended Bedford throughout school. I was always under the impression that it was 1 school district and kids down in that area had the opion to attend Bedford??

I forgot about the youngest Topper...he seemed like the next generation.
I recall asking a Bedford person specifically about the Gibbons family, was told that they lived in Harrison township, which generically sent kids north to Bedford instead of south to Hyndman. I was also told that there was no in the area limitation and that kids from anywhere in the district could pick either school that they wanted to attend.

Thank you left eye...now to answer your question ... I don't speak for anyone but myself and you of all people know I am about the biggest bedford supporter in the ridge district. If Bedford isn't playing ridge I route for them over everybody else. Both schools have their share of zealots that make things interesting.Lefteyelouie wrote:I do think it would have been nice to give them some love in his article.

Southpaw does support the blue & white by giving Roger & Paul lifetime sport passes to all CR events! Wonder if Bedford would return the same to Pooh Bear (not that he would use it)?

I think Roger and Paul are now Everett super fans.
speaking of the people I associate with I would think about 60 to 65 percent were rooting for CR to have success at the state duals. I would assume less than 10 percent of Cr fans would Support Bedford in the same way.

Re: 08-09 Bedford vs. 12-13 CR
Lefteyelouie, you give a little too much credit to Bedford and not enough to CR. I've always rooted for Bedford when they are not playing CR. I have a lot of friends in Bedford. I hope all county teams do well outside the county, district and states. I think you would find Bedford and CR are pretty equal in that aspect.
