i just dont think you should be picking on highschool bball players, they play the game let the refs and coaches handle them
and in highschool i played as 44 and my birthday is on the 14 of november so thats where the numbers came from in my name

14 came off the bench and immediately started running his mouth and taunting the nbc players, I seen him get kicked in the face when he was on the floor, he deserved worse than that! As for fisher he did get a warning for taunting right in front of me , he should have been hit with a T. If it were me playing in that game I would have went over to CTs coach and told him we are down 30, I have nothing to lose, if the taunting dont stop Im taking out your best player for the year. Like I said I dont care for either team, was there just watching the games. Its obvious you are from CT.

i was standing right above the rim and the first play when 14 came in he got an elbow right in the jaw away from the ball by 11 then got kicked in the head. fisher was getting whacked every play underneath and his emotions did come out.. and nice job. threatening a kid. funny your just there watching yet you dont have one good thing to say about how ct played. all the steals, all the rebounds, the 3's. 44's breakout game. nothing just ripping on all the players and coaches. when they played in dec and nbc won we didnt come on here saying how they were fouling, the fact that their fans had a dunk board for each time one of them dunked on ct the fact that boyer missed an early shot and every time he had the ball their yelling air ball the whole game and you get upset because he makes a layup and 14 waves his hands at them... if thats the worse you can come up with then you havent seen many games. and the dunk was in the first half when the game was a 5 point lead that basket would have made it 3 but ct got the rebound, made a layup on the break ct got a turnover and made a 3 and from that point on it was over. and yes when you got dunked on the previous game many times and instead of him taking the easy 2 tries to show off again and when it didnt go of course the ct bench was happy. sorry but natural reaction, just like your reaction to go put a kid out of commision i guess.

brigade reread one of my previous posts i said CT played an excellent game , i have probably watched many more high school games than you have unless your 60 years old which i doubt. The attempted dunk came when the game was a lot more lopsided than 5 points. Which game was you watching! Poor sportmanship from ct players led to the game getting ugly.

yes getting close in age my kids already played and graduated. sorry didnt see that one post only the ones latter on. you can use common sense to determine when the dunk happened..... which basket was the dunk on? what was the halftime score? 32-20 i think so as i said it was a 5 point game that basket would have made it 3. a layup on the rebound and a turnover that sotosky hit a 3 made that a scenerio that went from a possible 3 point game to a 10 point game. i am sure you will acknowledge the dunk took place under the basket with the fans and im sure you will acknowledge the halftime score so even at that point the biggest lead was 12 not 30 and the 12 was the end of the half not when the dunk attempt took place.

and im not gonna beat a dead horse but nbc was playing much more flagrant which is why they got the shoving fouls on the rebounds, the technical, and several players with 4 plus fouls. did c.t start to get an attitude, yes, but as i said in my post earlier the previous game and the nbc students had to do with some of that. but if you can really look at that game and state how bad c.t. was and think nbc players did nothing to instigate it then there is no more use in debating it.

The halftime score was 44 to 20 CT. Yes the dunk attempt was under the basket below the fans. But it was not a five pt game at that point or even close to it, in my opinion the game was already decided before the attempt. CT was up big and NBC was frustrated. Then the taunting only added to the frustration. I did not see the previous game, so I cant comment on it, but I know this game got ugly and neither coach nor the refs did a good job containing it. The way I see it your already beating a team bad, dont add fuel to the fire by taunting them.

7 pages of disagreeing. Doesn't look like everyone is going to agree to disagree on something we had no control of at the time and most certainly cannot control now. NBC got physical, ct responded verbally, nb got more physical, ct coach pulls starters because those who did have control had lost it the eyes of some spectators. Ct was the better team that night. It's over. Congrats to both on a great season - go district 5! Go make some noise and show the state what you are made of. Make some noise in the playoffs.
