Pat Chambers got off easy
Re: Pat Chambers got off easy
The are playing more than .500 ball. They are at a .667 winning percentage in their past 3.
Re: Pat Chambers got off easy
And don't think Chambers won't let everyone know it. He's gotta look good somehow. Maybe, like BO'B, he can get a contract extension. And that "2 wins out of 3" might help erase the memory of the 29 point loss to Minnesota.

Looking for something to do today? Head out to the BJC to see the Nits take on Wisconsin in their last regular season game. It will be Alumni Day, with over 50 past Nittany Lion letterman returning for the game. (If each one brings someone else with them, that'll increase attendance by 100). One person not expected to be there is John Amaechi, who, according to Wikipedia, is regarded as "one of the world's most high profile gay athletes". In 2007, he became the first former NBA player to "come out" publicly, after doing so in his memoir "Man in the Middle". This was totally opposite of Wilt (the Stilt) Chamberlain's book where he claimed to have had sex with 20,000 women. While at Penn State, Amaechi became a motivational speaker and mentor of area youth.

Moldy, are you going or watching on tv?
Re: Pat Chambers got off easy
Hey, who wouldn't want to see Gerry Claxton, Joe Crispin and Pete Lisicky in person.

And has shown poor coaching tendencies, as I mentioned before. Take today's game for example. I get home around 2PM and check in with the BTN to get the final PSU score. Lo and behold, there's 3 minutes still left in the game and Wisconsin is only up by 4. Sure enough, Wisconsin goofs around and with 5.5 seconds left on the clock, the Nits tie the game. Headed for overtime, right? Wisconsin tries to inbound the ball, and a jumpball is called with 3.3 seconds. Ball still stays with Wisconsin. Sooooo.....the Badgers inbound the ball under their own basket with 3.3 seconds left, dribble across the mid-court line, and hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer. And who was guarding the shooter??? Kevin Montminy, a walk-on from Penns Valley who averages 3.1 minutes per game. Nobody had fouled out for the Nits. Their complete roster was available. So why was he in????? There wasn't a true scholarship player available at such a crucial time? Unbelievable!!! Well, at least, Chambers got to tell the media again how hard his guys played.

Moldy come on. Just come out of the closet man. Your a Penn State fan. It's so obvious. The first step is to admit it.
