Having seen what a kid like Brown could do and knowing the impact a 6'8" athlete would have in a game featuring two AA schools, his presence against a team like Township would EASILY mean a 10 point swing both ways. He would have had 4-5 stickbacks, altered, prevented, or flat out blocked at least 5-10 shots, and would have grabbed 5-10 more rebounds that Twp didn't get.
If CT's best post player hadn't played and Brown did play, how do you think the outcome would have been affected???
The biggest reason that CT won 55-44 was the absence of Brown. Period.
just watched the brashear game again and he had 2 blocks and had the ball stripped 8 times brashears smallest guys were driving and scoring on him. he is not athletic and i still believe they were a faster team without him. he was the last one up and down the court and would not even have been involved in half of ct's fast break plays i give you 10 points offensively but sure as hell not 20 against ct's speed. fisher or sotosky would have probably played low post against him and had one been out 14 callihan would have been there. ct is not like some of these teams with a good 5 and no depth they have several that can come off the bench. you just got done saying you never saw ct play yet he is EASILY a 20 point turnaround. leahey imo is much better then he is and ct played them (pc) just as they would have played brown, and pc not only had 6'7 but 6'6 6'6 and 6'5 so not even a comparison on who is the bigger and better team i would take pc over house any day
