I know, I would love to see the ct/shade rematch the way both teams are playing their best ball. Ct did almost make the comeback at the end in that game. They showed a lot of heart being down big and cutting the lead to like 5 before running out of gas. But early on ct was up like 12-2 and shade bounced back. Definitely 2 teams that can make big runs and score in a hurry.

Yes, not much either are doing wrong which is great. I still would sooner have nc instead of johnsonburg. They are ranked 73rd for some reason while shade is 220. And playing at richland instead of way out to bald eagle. That is out by williamsport/ state college way. A good 2 hr drive.

Alghough I must admit I have not seen Shade play this year and I will not make any predictions on the outcome, those of you who have not seen Johnsonburg play will be in for a treat when you see their two junior guards. Extremely quick and can shoot lights out. As athletic of a pair as you will see. Enjoy the game, it should be a good one.

According to max preps Johnsonburg has 2 juniors that average 15 a game! Rest of the team is 8 points n under. Shade matches pretty well with them

Hoping shade can come out with a win in this matchup. The game being at bald eagle sucks, but I'll be there supporting the panthers! Go get em boys!

Radio won't be there, newspaper says technology hasn't caught up to the people of Wingate yet and they don't have a telephone line in the gym. When the PIAA heard this, Bald Eagle instantly became the #1 choice for where this game should be played because the PIAA tries to screw things up as much as possible when making decisions.

The scoring statistics are a little deceiving with the leading scorers being the two guards. The offense goes through both of them so they will be the leading scorers, however the other four players they play are no rum-dums, it's just the ball isn't in their hands most of the time. At least two of them would be the lead any other team in scoring. These two guards are special. Not to say that Shade won't beat them, just explaining the make-up of the team. Should be a very interesting game. Shade sounds like a legit team.

I'll share my take on Johnsonburg. They have athletes. Not D-1 size mind you but players that hone those skills in the off season. When I watched them, I saw signature Allegheny Mountain League basketball. An aggressive level of defense that puts any guards assist to turnover ratio in peril. I also noticed one the the sickest crossovers by their point guard. Watch for that. If he ever doubled that crossover up, I swear you'd hear ankle bones breaking from the cheap seats. Fun to watch.
Whoever wins tonight, has a very good chance to be the last school district standing. If they are, I'd recommend hanging a banner that says just that. Quite an accomplishment in it's own right. Best of luck to both teams.
