Cole Boozel

Post by say_oww »

Boozel had 17ks yesterday in Mt Union's 4-1 win over WB. It was his first game back from torn labrum suffered in his junior year. Fastball was between 88-92 all game.

I was at the game had good control of his fastball at times, there were some iffy calls behind the plate so that's why there were some of the walks. Good fastball, good movement with the change up and curve, however WAY to many curve balls. As far as 88-92 all game I don't know about all of that I would say 82-85 all game probably got one or two up around 86-92. Good performance for his first start back and it was also cold so the velocity will only rise when the weather gets warmer

First info I heard was 92. Double-checked with another scout and he told me it was 86-89.

Lytle kid from Altoona was consistently 85-87mph and hit 89mph a few times last week.
