Baseball umpires

Post by mville35 »

Unbelievable that District umpire president Ron Goisovich has such a vendetta against other baseball umpires in his own chapter that he is denying better umpires games in the playoffs for his own little pleasure. Obviously the only person this guy cares about is himself!!!!! Did he forget that these games are not about him, they are about the kids!!! The kids who have worked so hard all year to get to the playoffs. He is so dumb he thinks he is hurting the couple guys he didn't give games to, who are obviously better than his cronies, but who he is really hurting are the players and coaches who put so much into getting to the playoffs. These kids and coaches should be so mad that he is doing this, they worked so hard to get there, only to have games decided by incompetent umpires, while the good umpires are sitting at home because he doesn't like them. Come on old man, get your priorities right!! You are only hurting these poor kids who rely on you to not use the playoffs for your agenda!!!

that is your opinion, and heck no those are not the good ones, those are the ones that blew the Somerset game; don't really want to say who i think the good ones are, but if you did your research you could find out which ones were not picked by their great leader............., i am sure you don't think the ones i think are good, and they might not be great but they are a heck of a lot better than the ones doing the games...............

They are all gonna screw you sooner or later. You are better off if you don't try to put the blame on them.

Not trying to stir up the pot here even more on this topic and this honestly has NOTHING to do with me being a Portage fan because we lost fair and square yesterday to a better team, however....Anyone else notice the big main picture on the front page of the sports section of Tribune today ???

Do you mean this one? Mirror said the umpires were Corey Theys, plate; Brent Dorofey, first; Tom Pattison, third. I'm guessing Dorofey missed it. So much for the idea that they guys would have helped Huntingdon. LOL
