Champs "Best of the Batch" WPIAL Preseason All-Star Team

Champs Sports Network, the Best of the Batch Foundation and former Pittsburgh Steeler Charlie Batch teamed up once again to present the second annual "Best of the Batch" WPIAL Preseason All-Star Team.

Twenty six players from 23 different school districts make up this years team. Champs staff members selected the players based on their performance during last years high school football season, along with coaches' suggestions. All four classifications are well represented with Aliquippa, New Castle, and Mt. Lebanon each having two players selected to the team. The team will be honored before the Steelers preseason game on Aug. 24th against Kansas City.
