Re: Central news again.
I confirm district, I saw a junior high game between BG and SC and the 8th grader that we are talking about did not play for either school. I talked to a Dragon insider and he said they are both gone. What a shame. You can go from public to private without anybody saying a word. try to go public to public and it is challenged. Seems really fair doesn't it.

Yes, I'm now hearing that its a done deal also. Anybody else hearing that a 3rd player might be leaving for BG also?

My unreliable source said that in addition to the sisters that they MIGHT be losing another sophomore. But I'm holding the name since my source isn't that great and they used the term MIGHT, which makes me think that perhaps a decision wasn't made yet.

I don't think this one is true. I don't think Central has much left.
Re: Central news again.
Just a question...... Posters here that seem to have a lot of inside scoop on what they consider the horrible state of affairs at Central in regards to both boys and girls hoops. Let us assume it really is a mess. Coaches that don't care, low numbers etc. Why do so many members here get so put out when a player that is talented and committed and finds themselves in a situation as described above object so strongly when they wish to find a better situation for their very short hs careers. Why does their loyalty get questioned? Thoughtful replies please... why does a kid owe loyalty to a school? This isn't meant to get the whole private vs public thing going again. If a kid loves music and a particular school has no solid program but a neighboring school is outstanding do we force them to stay in the first school because it would be disloyal to leave? Why isn't it disloyal to change jobs when the circumstances of the work place make you unsatisfied.

I don't think Central's programs are horrible or that their coaches don't care. I don't think I ever said that or questioned player's loyalty in my posts.
