Like I said before, I hope the CR administration keeps them accountable.

I heard someone from ridge made the statement "we're turning into another Tussey Mountain". If this is so CONGRATULATIONS.. IF only all the schools around were like TMHS THE WORLD WOULD BE PERFECT....

Whoa,
I heard someone from ridge made the statement "we're turning into another Tussey Mountain".
What the heck?! I went to Tussey Mt. and so did my whole family and I've lived in that area all of my life and I NEVER heard of anyone slashing tires in the parking lot during a sporting event. Yeah our fans get a little out of hand, but only with words. Tussey has more respect for visiting teams than that. The worst you can expect from a Tussey fan is them picking a fight with you, which can and has happened at other schools. So Tussey is no worse than any other school out there.

Coach Clark's tires probably got slashed because the kids didn't know exactly whose car tires they were slashing. I'm sure they wouldn't really care either way if it was Ridge or Bedford. That's just my opinion.

What do your comments have to do with anything? What difference does it make whose tires were slashed?

Well Dep, seeing that this topic is about the "slashing" incident, I think my post had everything to do with it. Besides, I was refurring to Gumboots post that was made earlier. No need to get rude.

Ridge I'm afraid is sinking back to the "Peanut Hill" mentality that was associated with the district for years and was overcome by class and respect from its students in the late 80's to the late 90's. Now it seems that the Peanut Hill label will once again be applied to Ridge from outsiders.

This was our third major vanalism type spree this school year. The two previous groups of students involved the incidents weren't expelled and Ridge hasn't expelled a student since '93 for a much more minor than this crime!

I think it all comes back to administration being scared of parents or backlash.

Southpaw -- do you think there is a common thread to these 3 incidents? I heard a parent mention "gang" related or an orientation process. Could this be happening in our town?
