HERITAGE WEEK 7

Post by HSfan »

Last week 4-1 and 28-2 ytd.

Homer-Center (6-0) 35
Conemaugh Township (1-5) 13

The Wildcats used 10 RB's last week at United after taking a 23-0 lead in the first quarter. Wildber had a close game last week vs the Indians. C T beat Blacklick Valley 40-6 in week 5.

Saltsburg (1-5) 16
Blairsville (3-3) 33

With QB Thompson out a second week the Bobcats lost for the third week in a row. But, a win here and next week at United and week 10 at Mo Val could get them into the playoffs. TD passes from F. Plowman to T. Frassenia give the Trojans their only TD's vs Lig Val.

United (0-6) 13
Purchase Line (2-4) 31

The Red Dragons have the leading rusher in the Heritage with Grant Syster after he lite up M C for 279 yd on 29 carries and 2 TD's. With only 96 total yd last week the Lions were shutout and have only 30 points all season.

Marion Center (1-5) 16
Northern Cambria (2-4) 23

Both teams lost last week, the Stingers 28-16 to P L and the Colts were destroyed 53-6 at home by Berlin. C. Barrett at 6-0 and 285 with D. Benamati at 6-3 and 280 will be hard for a very small M C team to control.

Game of the Week
Penns Manor (6-0) 24
Ligonier Valley (6-0) 20

The Comets continue to control the running game by allowing only 63 y/g while gaining 343 y/g. QB L. Kowalski is second in the Heritage with 687 yd rushing and a league leading 12 TD's. The Rams stepped up their passing game last week when QB S. Fennell was 14-20-0-294 and 2 TD's with A. Bloom receiving 5 for 135 yd. It's P M line vs L V skill players.

All game Friday at 7 pm.

Hc catz have been coming on strong, can't wait to see what they do against an out of conf opponent.

With Thompson back bls will be much better

Nc I believe is banged up, mc will challenge them

Pl getting better every week

Lig pass o looking good but will their qb survive 4 quarters of shots vs the pm line

CORRECTION:
Blairsville has lost three of the last four.

Yes, QB Scott Thompson and WR Colton McMillian should be back this week after missing three weeks.

LV's QB is averaging over 220 yds of Total offense a game with 8tds rushing and 8tds passing and 6 int's on D according to MaxPreps. Sounds like a pretty well rounded athlete. Would love to go to this game but can't. Pleas keep the score posted tom night.
